Frequently asked questions

How does order sync and attribution work?
Sprusify uses Shopify webhooks and scheduled reconciliation to fetch orders, then matches orders to attribution events recorded by our tracking (server-side + client-side fallbacks). We surface match confidence and let you review or override attributions in the admin.
Is Sprusify really free?
Yes - Sprusify is free to install and use. You can add unlimited affiliates and referrals. We only charge fees that are tied to payouts: merchants pay their payment processor fees, and affiliates incur a 3.5% payout processing fee deducted from their payouts.
Which payout and payment providers do you support?
Today we support Stripe for affiliate payouts (connect or direct payouts). Merchant payments are handled by the merchant's storefront/payment provider. We plan additional payout providers - contact us if you need a specific integration.
How are affiliate fees and payouts calculated?
You define commission rules per partner or globally. When an order is finalized, Sprusify calculates the affiliate's commission and schedules payouts. Affiliates see net amounts after the 3.5% payout-processing fee (and any merchant card-processing fees are charged to the merchant).
Can I import or bulk-manage affiliates?
Yes - the admin supports CSV import and bulk actions for assigning programs, updating rates, or disabling accounts. For large migrations we offer support and guidance to keep attributions accurate during the transfer.
What about fraud prevention and tracking accuracy?
Sprusify includes basic fraud signals and rule-based filters (e.g., suspicious IP, high refund rate). Attribution confidence is shown per conversion; disputed or low-confidence attributions can be reviewed before paying out. We continuously improve our signals and offer enterprise fraud rules for higher-risk programs.
