Quick Start / Installation

This page gives a concise set of steps to install and verify Sprusify in your Shopify store so you can start tracking referrals quickly.

Prerequisites

  • Shopify store admin access.
  • A Stripe account if you plan to use Stripe Connect for automated payouts.
  1. Install Sprusify
  • From the Shopify App Store or your Apps page, install Sprusify and accept the OAuth scopes requested (orders, products, discounts, webhooks). Only enable scopes you need.
  1. Basic configuration
  • Open Sprusify from the Shopify admin sidebar and run the setup wizard.
  • Configure currency/timezone to match your store, set default commission type (percentage or fixed), and set referral window (e.g., 30 days).
  1. Connect payouts (optional)
  • Navigate to Settings → Payouts → Connect Stripe and complete Stripe Connect onboarding if you want automated payouts.
  1. Create a test campaign and affiliate
  • Create a campaign, set commission rules, and add a test affiliate.
  • Generate a tracking link or coupon for the test affiliate.
  1. Verify tracking
  • Click the tracking link, place a test order on the storefront, and verify the conversion appears in Sprusify Analytics and the affiliate’s dashboard.

Quick troubleshooting

  • If clicks appear but conversions do not, confirm webhooks are delivered and that the referral cookie was present at checkout.
  • Use the admin Orders → Sync Now to manually reconcile missed events.
